SCRABBLE® Publicity Event in Seattle, Nov 17th

Seattle-based Real Networks purchased the on-line rights to SCRABBLE® earlier this year. RN and NSA coordined a publicity event in Seattle to highlight their new SCRABBLE® product. There was a "Man-versus-Machine" match where Jim Kramer (2006 USSO Champion) played the RN Scrabble® program for money. The event took place on Friday, November 17th at Westlake Center from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM. MAN vs. Machine Press Release

Polyglot SCRABBLE® came to Seattle!

The American Translator's Association had their annual conference in Seattle the week of November 9-12, 2005. As part of the conference, they hosted a "Scrabble Social" for their members where they played "Polyglot Scrabble" the evening of November 11th. What is Polyglot Scrabble? It's Scrabble where you can make words in any language in the same game. John Chew organized an event for the group the previous year when they met in Toronto. Read all about it at his website.

Mike Frentz and Dan Goodwin organized the event here in Seattle. Thanks guys!
